From comprehensive insurance to generous vacation, Nifco America Corporation offers an extensive—and flexible—benefit package. Here is a summary of our key programs for U.S. full-time salaried associates which could change at any time.

Insurance

Medical-coverage is available for all new Nifco associates and dependents on the first day of employment with premium sharing. Nifco offers choice by PPO. Hospital, surgical and medical benefits, as well as availability, vary for in-network or non-network activities.

Dental-Associates and eligible dependents can elect dental coverage which is included in the premium sharing. These benefits include routine preventive care with most other treatments being covered at 50 to 80 percent of UCR charges. Dental and orthodontic services have limitations for each eligible person.

Prescriptions-The Nifco Medical Plan, a PPO, has a $10 co-pay for generic prescriptions and $25 for brand names and $50 non-preferred brand names. Mail-order is available.

Life Insurance

Nifco America Corporation provides life insurance equal to one and one-half times annual base salary to maximum $150,000.

Disability-Benefits are also available due to disability from accident, or illness immediately with coverage at 66 2/3% of your normal wages up to a max of $4000/month once you have been 90 days off of work.

Paid Time Off

Vacations-Nifco America Corporation has a very generous paid vacation policy that is based on years of service. New Hires, based on hire date, varies from 80 to 40 paid hours. As many as 160 hours of paid time off are available after 11 years.

Holidays-The number of paid holidays is 7, plus 3 floating which vary from year to year.

Retirement

The Nifco Retirement and Savings Plan allows associates to make self directed investment choices in Principal® funds on a pre-tax basis and to receive additional contributions from Nifco. You're eligible to invest up to 100% or as little as 1% of your pay in the Pre-Tax Employee portion of the 401(K) Plan which is vested to you immediately. Once qualified Nifco matches your contribution 50%-for-each dollar up to 6% of your eligible compensation with Nifco’s matching contribution vesting at a rate of 20% per year with full vesting after five years.

Those Little Extras

The Nifco Flexible Benefits Plan allows you to pay for certain qualified medical or dependent care expenses on a pre-tax basis. At the beginning of each plan year you designate the amount you wish to contribute to your health or dependent care account but you must Use It or Lose It. In addition, we provide programs for employee assistance and tuition assistance.
