WINNERS!
Agility and Innovation Award: The cross-functional team of Bill Hauptman, Chris Bulger, Ryan Molitor, Mackenzie Flowers, Wes Ryan, Masaaki Nishino, and Jason Rees addressed the crisis in critical parts. The team jumped immediately to find the mix, lot dates, and affected resources and gathered valuable information working through holidays and weekends. This information ultimately led to us being able to respond to our customer requests in a timely manner.
Engineering Award: Ryan Molitor and Charlie Branstool used a current example/product to evaluate the feasibility of in-house hot runner cables. The two challenged themselves through research, reverse engineering the part, and recreating the cable.
Leadership Award: Iris Romero has gone above and beyond in organizing and coordinating to boost employee morale and give back to the community. Her leadership with her team at events such as Dia de Musrtos, Halloween, disguises, and Mexico Independence Days exemplified the Nifco philosophy.
Kaizen Award: As a group, Ryan Adams, Anthony Dworianyan, and Rodney Jackson wanted to do more than install new server equipment. They wanted to build a new environment, understand what was there, and make it as stable as possible. The result was removing two racks od servers and decommissioning over 100 servers, which avoided more purchases, saved electricity, and improved security.
